viscom\nis increasingly becoming a solution-orientated user forum, with more and more machines,\nmaterials and technologies being able to be tried out on-site.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hammering, drilling, polishing \u2013 visitors do not come\nto the viscom Workshop <\/strong>justfor alook, they also want to take part. Anybody can contribute their ideas\nand skills and lend a hand in realising some of the different projects from the\nfields of advertising technology and textile finishing on offer. One of the\nprojects for the three days of the fair is a 13m-long wall that will be\ndecorated with different digital fleece wallpapers made by the company Erfurt and\ndesigned to demonstrate just how you can customize interior design. The front\nof a barber\u2019s shop will also be erected by members of numerous trades working directly\nas a team, enabling visitors to try out different machinery and discover how to\nwork with different materials in situ. In collaboration with experts from Signforum24,\nviscom is increasingly becoming a solution-orientated user-forum. As Martin\nGerhardts of Signforum24 stresses, \u201cOur ideas and wishes are bearing evermore\nfruit and we are very pleased to have a reliable and flexible partner like Reed\nat our side\u201d. As one of the core elements of the event, the workshop will be moving\nto the centre of Hall 13 in 2020. There will be a broad aisle on three sides of\nthe hall, with a directly adjoining caf\u00e9 and tables. Commenting on the changes,\nMartin Gerhardts says, \u201cThat way, we have solved the problem of the lack of seating\nthat we had last year\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire Wednesday, 8th<\/sup> January 2020 has\nbeen dedicated to the topic of packaging<\/strong>.\nPackaging and display experts, designers, agencies, manufacturers and clients will\nbe providing very different perspectives to visitors in different talks and discussions.\nOne of the key focuses will be the long-term trend towards sustainability. On Thursday, 9th<\/sup> January 2020, the Interior Design Business Meet-Up<\/strong> will\nbe providing ideas and specific case studies relating to innovative interior design<\/strong>. Manufacturers and\nprofessionals with project experience will be showing innovations that are both\neye-catching and easy to produce. The occasion offers the opportunity to try\nout different materials and technologies and to discuss your own projects. There\nwill be experts on-hand to provide information on, e.g. special self-adhesive films\nand their uses, or on trends in digital large-format printing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dedicated tours<\/strong> lead to the most important stations of viscom. The \u201cMake something out of it\u201d tour<\/strong> is orientated towards the \u201cRoad to Discovery\u201d. It takes you to special areas such as \u201cMake Your Shirt\u201d, the workshop, the Nations Wrap Cup and past various boulevard islands, to selected exhibitors. Amongst other things, the Interior Design Circuit<\/strong> embraces lectures in Forum 13, individual islands on the \u201cRoad to Discovery\u201d, the workshop and leading exhibitors from the field of printing. A guided tour with Frazer Chesterman<\/strong> will look at different approaches and ideas relating to sustainability<\/strong>. The number of participants on this tour is restricted.
