His\nknowledge, input and passion for the promotional merchandise industry has been\na great asset to the BPMA during his tenure. This move comes in the midst of significant progressive work\nbeing undertaken by the BPMA centred around sustainability and end-user\nresearch linking both with industry standards. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The BPMA has recruited Carey Trevill as\nInterim CEO for the coming year to manage these critical projects and with a\nstrong marketing and industry body background, utilising her skills and\nexperience to oversee this period of change. Carey has been a long-time\nsupporter of the BPMA through her previous roles which include leading a\nmarketing trade association. Jon Birrell will be working closely with Carey\nTrevill during the transition until his departure in April. \n\nBPMA\nChair Angela Wagstaff said \u201cJon has taken the organisation through a tricky\neconomic period of change for our Members and we wish him well on the next step\non his journey.
