Keeping your distance is currently the best way of demonstrating to others that you have their welfare at heart. This is pretty easy to do if you are working from home but is quite another matter if you work in a supermarket. Several textile manufacturers from Hochdahl and Erkrath have come together and set up the initiative, \u201cAbstand halten\u201d, i.e. \u201cKeep your distance\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company behind the project is textile printer Crastec<\/a>, which is donating around 300 T-shirts with the striking slogan \u201cKeep Your Distance\u201d to Edeka supermarket employees in Hochdahl and Rewe employees in Erkrath in the district of Mettmann. The textile finishing company wants to make its own personal contribution to protecting retail employees from becoming infected with the corona virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Textile manufacturer Promodoro<\/a> initially made 200 T-shirts for the campaign free of charge. This inspired other sponsors to announce that they would be sponsoring the T-shirt campaign too. Specialist supplier Lockamp<\/a> has provided the textile printers with the necessary transfer presses. Bleher Folientechnik<\/a> is providing foils for creating screen print transfers, while the screen printing ink manufacturer CHT<\/a> is sponsoring water-based screen printing inks. PromoTex Expo exhibitor Kammann Spezialmaschinen<\/a> is also making printing capacity available on its Turbotran transfer printing machine so that more T-shirts can be made available for people working in the retail trade in the B\u00fcnde region in Herford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nmayor of Erkrath, Christoph Schultz, welcomes the \u201cAnstand & Abstand\u201d\n(Decency & Distance) campaign, while deputy mayor Sabine Lahnstein, who also\nworks in Erkrath in an honorary capacity, also vigorously supports the campaign.\nThe T-shirts are being produced with water-based screen print transfers which\nare printed onto the T-shirts using the Turbotran transfer printing machine.\nThe first employees have already received their printed T-shirts.
