The uma RECYCLED PET PEN series from uma Schreibger\u00e4te Ullmann GmbH is now certified according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The certificate documents the recycling process from the post-consumer PET bottle to the production of the writing instrument. “In addition to the fact that only European PET bottles are used for the uma production, we guarantee that the rPET material used was previously a PET bottle and therefore a sustainable recycling process is already present in the product. The Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification (ICEA) confirms this process and also underlines that the shells of the uma recycled PET PEN series can again be fed into an existing recycling process”, explains Managing Director Alexander Ullmann.
