New Wave GmbH, the company behind leading endurance-sports brand Craft Sportswear and corporate-wear brands Clique and Cutter & Buck, is bolstering its board with two new experts. Since the beginning of the year, Frank Geisler and Steven Baumgaertner have joined the board, with their many years of experience in the retail and corporate wear sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two new board members will advise the management on strategic issues for both business areas. The Board of New Wave GmbH previously consisted of Torsten Jansson (founder and Managing Director of New Wave Group AB), Jens Petersson (Vice President Sports & Leisure of New Wave Group AB) and Stefan Persson (CEO of Craft Sportswear AB). It is gaining additional expertise through this expansion – with the aim of further developing the three brands strategically and setting the course for a successful future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Frank Geisler is a proven expert in sports retail and will continue to drive forward the retail division at New Wave GmbH with his extensive experience in the sector. His career includes significant positions at companies such as Dosenbach-Ochsner, Puma, Karstadt and Kaufhof. Most recently, he spent six years as a board member at Intersport Germany, where he was responsible for areas such as category management, national and international supplier management, strategic purchasing and sales and marketing. As a passionate sportsman and networker, he knows the challenges and opportunities of the sector at first hand and will contribute his in-depth market knowledge to the strategic direction of New Wave GmbH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Steven Baumgaertner is a recognised expert in the field of corporate wear. Together with Roman Weiss, he founded cyber-Wear Heidelberg GmbH 30 years ago, which has developed into a leading company in the promotional product sector. Under his management, cyber-Wear serves well-known customers such as Audi, Deutsche Bahn and Knaus Tabbert. He was also involved in the European umbrella organisation for the sector, the EAC. With his expertise, he will support the strategic development of the Corporate Wear segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
