The extreme weather conditions, with temperatures hovering around 40 degrees, presented organisers and participants with particular challenges, but at the same time highlighted the importance of forward planning and responsible team spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Exemplary response<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even before the event began, plans were adapted to suit the weather conditions. Additional shaded areas, water stations, cooling facilities and an expanded supply of drinks ensured greater safety and comfort. Furthermore, the organising team shortened the match durations in the preliminary round and extended the rest breaks. The focus was not only on sporting ambition, but also on fairness and mutual consideration. The Zogi team emerged victorious, ahead of Kalfany and Inspirion. The final treated spectators to top-class beach volleyball. Beyond the sporting competition, the BeachCup remained true to its character as a get-together for the sector. Between matches, participants took the opportunity to chat, network and celebrate together. The evening event brought to a close a day that, despite the heat, was remembered above all for its exceptional atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A unique spirit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simon Merkel, Head of Events &amp; Organisation at cyber-Wear, emphasises that the focus was not simply on staging the tournament at any cost. Rather, the aim was to create a safe environment for sport, socialising and community. The fact that the teams made a conscious decision to continue the competition is a testament to the unique BeachCup spirit. CEO Steven Baumgaertner also sees the BeachCup as an important meeting place for the sector, extending far beyond the sporting aspect. It was precisely under these extreme conditions that responsibility, consideration and solidarity demonstrated what sets the community apart.
