There is demand for products that convey brand messages whilst also demonstrating environmental responsibility \u2013 without compromising on functionality, quality or cost-effectiveness. Writing instruments, in particular, demonstrate how material innovation, durable design and the circular economy can be combined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One approach is the use of materials that have already completed a life cycle. Recycled PET (rPET) from used PET bottles can be processed into high-quality materials for durable writing instruments, thereby conserving resources. However, it is not just the material that is crucial: build quality, durability and product design geared towards long-term use also contribute to sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The uma RECYCLED PET PEN CORE demonstrates how this approach can be put into practice. The writing instrument is made from rPET sourced from PET bottles collected in Europe. Production takes place in ClimatePartner-certified European manufacturing facilities.
