Aka-Tex: Basic Seminars on Textile Merchandising and Textile Seals

At the end of August 2023, the German textile finishing academy, Akademie für Textilveredlung, is offering two basic seminars for the textile and clothing sector in cooperation with the host Promodoro Fashion in Düsseldorf. The first seminar on textile merchandising will be held on 30 August 2023. Participants will learn about fibres, yarn, materials, fabric and roles of textiles and clothing.

The half-day seminar on textile seals will follow one day later, on 31 August 2023. Birgit Jussen, a qualified engineer, will give an overview of the important textile seals and their meanings. She will also explain who awards the seals and for what purpose and discuss how credible they are.
