Service info: Travel to PSI despite rail strike in Germany

+++ UPDATE: Deutsche Bahn trains will run as planned on 9 January 2024, the first day of PSI. There might be disruptions to train services from Wednesday onwards. However, Deutsche Bahn has drawn up an emergency timetable. +++

The German train drivers’ union (GDL) has announced a strike from 8 January for a period of 3 to 5 days. If you are planning to travel to PSI by Deutsche Bahn, we recommend that you inform yourself in time about your alternative travel options.

To minimise possible inconveniences, we have compiled the most important information for your journey to Europe’s leading trade show for the promotional products industry.

Note The tram line U78 MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA/Messe Nord takes you directly and conveniently to the North Entrance of Messe Düsseldorf – the entrance to PSI.

You will need a ticket for travelling to PSI by public transport. Your admission ticket to PSI 2024 does not include free travel to and from the exhibition centre by public transport.
