The industry celebrates and dances

PSI Night is back. On the evening of the first day of the trade show, PSI invited its trade show participants to a party at the trendy Düsseldorf Eventresidenz, continuing a popular tradition from past trade shows.
In the 2010s, the same location was the setting for the glamorous highlight of the trade fair hustle and bustle. In 2000, the Eventresidenz opened in the former premises of the traditional Residenz Theatre from 1910 and, with its noble Art Deco ambience, provided the ideal setting for an exuberant party.
The event kicked off at 7 pm sharp with sparkling wine and small treats before PSI Director Petra Lassahn and RX Germany Managing Director Michael Köhler welcomed the guests and invited them to dinner. The buffet stations set up at various locations offered different dishes that invited guests to take a culinary trip around the world.
Those who simply wanted to party and dance could join in from 10 pm. A four-piece band with two female singers provided the appropriate live beats, whose phenomenal sound drew people straight onto the dance floor and created an exuberant atmosphere. Afterwards, a DJ heated things up with more movement-stimulating sounds. The event location was packed and you could literally feel how passionately the industry – which dedicates itself to its profession in the exhibition halls during the day – knows how to party in the evening.
It was once again evident that events like this, with all their personal encounters, conversations and experiences, strengthen the sense of community. At the end of the long evening, all party guests agreed: PSI Night is simply part of the PSI trade show!
