Epson – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of printers, scanners, digital cameras, integrated circuits, projectors, cash registers, industrial robots and LCD components – has announced that Takanori Inaho has taken up his new position as President of Epson Europe on 1 April 2024. He succeeds Yoshiro Nagafusa, who has retired. Inaho has worked at Epson for more than 33 years and prior to his appointment as President of Epson Europe B.V., he held various positions for Epson in Europe, America and Japan, most recently as General Administrative Manager of the Sales and Marketing departments. His expertise covers printers, home cinema and business projectors as well as Epson micro-devices.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Inaho said: “EMEA is an extremely important region for Seiko Epson Corporation and I am proud to accept this appointment. I wish Mr Nagafusa a happy retirement and look forward to working with our skilled team at Epson Europe to develop strategic business areas for continued success in the region.”
Yoshiro Nagafusa adds: “I have enjoyed my time in the EMEA region. Working with a talented team and their input has helped me to be successful as President of Epson EMEA. When I took on this leadership role for Epson Europe, we entered a new phase for the company and have been working harder to reduce the environmental impact of Epson’s products, services and supply chains. I think we have made great progress and we have received important awards from independent external institutes. I wish Mr Inaho all the best and I am sure he will continue our efforts in this area, but also put his own stamp on this important position.” www.epson.eu
