FOL International celebrates 30th anniversary

On Friday, 12 July 2024, Fruit of the Loom International celebrated 30 years of its site at Kaiserslautern – the European headquarters of the three cult brands Fruit of the Loom, Russell Europe and JERZEES®.

At the German switching point in Kaiserslautern, the textiles of the popular brand cosmos are designed, warehoused and distributed by more than 100 employees on 84,000 square metres, and a factory outlet is likewise operated there. The cosmopolitan company is particularly proud of its international workforce, which represents a total of ten different nationalities.

The celebrations were held with more than 200 guests into late in the evening. The invitees were all employees and their family members, for whom a colourful programme of entertainment was laid on. Bouncy castle, photo booth, table football, soccer and darts contests, plus supervised children’s entertainment: fun and togetherness were at the focus and, FOL reports, are also part of corporate culture during working life. Sustenance was provided by a big BBQ event plus an ice-cream van for sweet, cool refreshment.

The day before, the company saluted 16 jubilarians for 30 years of belonging to the site with a celebration of their very own. The Executive Management admitted the loyal employees to the global “Founders’ Club”, which meets annually as “a valuable part of the company.” In addition, there was an award and a voucher for the jubilarians.
