395 working years: uma pays tribute to longstanding loyalty

Recently, the annual Christmas party at uma Schreibgeräte Ullmann GmbH provided the backdrop for a tribute paid to loyal company affiliation. “The fact that uma has a really great staff complement is primarily due to our ability to build on the wealth of experience and loyalty of longstanding employees. We are proud of you all!” proclaimed managing director Jochen Ullmann at the beginning of the honours during the annual Christmas party, which took place, as tradition demands, in the company’s own high-rack warehouse.

In total, 22 jubilarians with a combined 395 years of belonging to the company – including for 10, 20, 25 and 30 years – were lined up for commendation. “Your loyalty and engagement are the foundation on which our company stands,” confirmed Jochen Ullmann. “This dedication is inspiring and deserves the absolute recognition of the entrepreneurial family.”

As Ullmann went onto explain, despite unstable prevailing conditions, uma Schreibgeräte Ullmann GmbH had succeeded in “further expanding its leading market position in the promotional writing instruments market.” The crucial factor for this, he said, was the personal dedication of all employees in favour of stable co-operation. “We would like not only to look back at the past few years, but also ahead and into the future. We look forward to continuing to grow with you all, tackling new challenges and writing successes,” Jochen Ullmann sums up.
