A festive setting for the winners of the PSI Academy Awards

PSI has chosen a special location for the festive award ceremony of the PSI Academy Awards on 11 September 2025: the Gürzenich, also known as Cologne’s ‘parlour’, will be the venue for the PSI Academy Night, which will round off the new PSI Academy format with a gala evening.

The prestigious building with its late Gothic façade in the centre of Cologne’s old town dates back to 1447, yet remains very much in tune with the times when it comes to staging impressive events and creating an emotional fireworks display that will be remembered for years to come.

From the outset, the building served as a municipal festival hall for a wide variety of events: on the one hand, guests of honour of the city of Cologne were received in the ballroom, and on the other hand, the premises were made available to nobles and ‘distinguished’ citizens for public and private celebrations. Since the beginning of the 19th century, the building complex has been used for concerts, congresses, social and cultural events. On 11 September at 7 p.m., the Gürzenich will now provide the prestigious setting for the PSI Academy Awards and honour the PSI Academy with a festive gala evening.
