This year’s BeachCup in Ketsch/Germany impressively demonstrated how much energy, solidarity and commitment there is in the European promotional product sector. What originally began as a sporty summer event – on the initiative of PSI member cyber-Wear Heidelberg – has now developed into a sector-wide lighthouse event. The BeachCup 2025 set a new benchmark in terms of sports, organisation and community. Notwithstanding the midsummer temperatures of 36 degrees, over 300 guests from all over Europe gathered on the BeachCup site to experience a day full of emotion, competition and lively dialogue. A total of 94 matches were played over eight hours on several pitches. 27 highly motivated teams – the majority of them PSI members – competed against each other, cheered on by the rousing atmosphere and an unconditional will to set a strong example for the sector together.

Sporting highlights

The semi-finals, featuring the teams Atlantis Fioi, Bärenbande, Zogi Barracudas and Inspirion Sandkastenfreunde, were among the sporting highlights. These matches were characterised by fairness, team spirit and great enthusiasm. First place went to the Zogi Barracudas. Second place went to Inspirion Sandkastenfreunde, followed by Atlantis Fioi in third place. A special highlight was the Tour de Promo powered by Prodir, which was organised for the first time. One team set off by bike from Kastellaun on Wednesday morning and covered the distance to Ketsch within two days. The participants arrived at the event site punctually on Friday afternoon. This sporting achievement symbolises endurance, determination and the team spirit that characterises the BeachCup.

Social responsibility

Social responsibility was also a central feature of the event. A registration campaign was organised on site in cooperation with DKMS. Over 100 people registered as potential stem cell donors. This sent out a strong signal of solidarity and social responsibility. The festive finale was an atmospheric Players Night that lasted until the early hours of the morning. The event offered numerous opportunities for personal dialogue, networking and the shared experience of a memorable sector event. The BeachCup 2025 impressively demonstrated the power of a strong, dedicated community.

Successful start to the Tour de Promo

Planning has already begun for the next round in 2026. The aim is to perpetuate this exceptional atmosphere and inspire even more people to take part. Particular attention will once again be paid to the Tour de Promo next year. Following this year’s successful kick-off, the 2026 cycle tour is to be expanded. Anyone interested in taking part in this initiative as a rider, supporter or partner can get in touch now for further details.
