PSI will take place in Cologne from 2027 onwards

A new chapter begins: After six successful decades in Düsseldorf, PSI – Europe’s leading trade show for the promotional products industry – will take place in Cologne from 2027 onwards. From 12 to 14 January 2027, PSI will open its doors for the first time at the Cologne Exhibition Centre. Organiser RX is thus sending a clear signal for the future.

Why the change of location?

The new exhibition location in Cologne offers decisive advantages:

• Planning reliability: The new date in January avoids overlap with the public holiday celebrated in many European countries on 6 January.
• Modern hall structure: The north halls of the Cologne Exhibition Centre offer a new, attractive hall concept – with better conditions for exhibitors and visitors.
• Strategic development: The aim is to further expand the international significance of PSI and provide fresh impetus for the industry.

‘This step is a clear commitment to the further development of PSI. We are looking forward to the new opportunities that the move to Cologne will offer everyone involved,’ says Michael Köhler, Managing Director of RX Deutschland GmbH.

PSI Director Petra Lassahn also emphasises the foresight of this decision: ‘We are convinced that the long-term reliability of an attractive trade show date will further strengthen the relevance and reach of the trade show.’

PSI 2026 to be held in Düsseldorf again

Before moving to Cologne in 2027, the next PSI will take place as usual in Düsseldorf from 7 to 9 January 2026.

The move to Cologne is not a farewell, but a new beginning – with the clear ambition to further develop PSI as the most important industry gathering in Europe.
