GOOD DESIGN® Award 2025 for RASTAL

It is a symbol of excellent innovative design: The beer trophy Convent was honoured with the GOOD DESIGN® Award 2025, prevailing in a highly competitive international field with entries from more than 55 countries. While focusing on aesthetics and functionality, the drinking glass specialist RASTAL developed the Covent model to the highest standards. The glass is ideal for ‘Ales’, a classic Belgian beer and modern beer varieties, as it combines traditional Trappist look with a modern design concept. The wide beer mug shape is especially striking, as it is elegant and lets the complex aromas breathe optimally.

The slightly inwardly curved edge stabilises the foam and rounds off the overall flavour. This perfectly brings out the beer’s malty, fruity and hoppy nuances. Convent is made from brilliant crystal glass and wins people over with its clear lines and haptic feel that is both robust and elegant. With calibration options ranging from 0.25 to 0.4 litres, the glass is flexible for breweries and restaurants to use. “Receiving a renowned design award is always something special and honours the creative work of our team. Our commitment to design is firmly rooted in our company’s DNA and keeps up with the trends in the international gastronomy industry,” says Maximilian Sahm, managing partner of RASTAL GmbH & Co. KG. www.rastal.com
