Fruit of the Loom supports Viktoriia Dvornik’s international internship in Dublin

International experience, new perspectives and valuable practical skills: Viktoriia Dvornik, a trainee in marketing communications at Fruit of the Loom (a supplier of high-quality textiles for finishing, promotional and corporate wear in the B2B textile market – imprint sector), spent three weeks in Dublin, Ireland as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The company was very supportive of the initiative and granted Viktoriia leave to undertake the training. Her apprenticeship continued unchanged during this period, including her remuneration.

The programme was organised by the KBBZ Saarbrücken, Friedrich-List School (European School, Erasmus+). The aim is to improve language skills and develop intercultural competence. “My school offered me the chance to take part in an internship in Dublin. This year marks the first time that marketing students have also been invited,” says Viktoriia Dvornik. “Looking back, the internship was a great opportunity to grow both professionally and personally. I would take part again in a heartbeat and think it’s great that Fruit of the Loom gave me this opportunity.”

During the first week, Viktoriia attended an English course at ADC College. She then spent two weeks at Citas College Dublin, where she spoke with students, observed lessons and sat in on exams. At the same time, she carried out tasks for the marketing department, including planning small events, coming up with ideas for social media content and preparing presentations. At the end of the programme, the group received certificates confirming their successful completion.

Fruit of the Loom expressly welcomes and supports trainees’ stays abroad. “Such international experiences foster professional and personal development, particularly in terms of independence, intercultural skills and language proficiency,” says Lou Emilia Tassone, Digital Marketing Specialist and Viktoriia’s trainer. As her training company, Fruit of the Loom supported the project and maintained regular contact with Viktoriia. Upon her return, she presented her experiences at an internal team meeting and gave her colleagues insights into her daily routine and what she had learnt in Dublin.

Viktoriia Dvornik (born 2001) began her apprenticeship in marketing communications in August 2025 and is gaining experience across the core areas of the marketing team at FOL International – with a particular focus on digital channels and brand management. She brings a strong digital mindset and an international perspective to communications for the Fruit of the Loom and Russell Athletic® brands.
