Generational transition underway

Since 2025, Leon Kuntze has been supporting the sales team at meterex Karl Kuntze (GmbH & Co.). In the history of this 100-year-old family-owned business, he is the first representative from the fourth generation. His joining the company marks the start of a generational transition, which the company intends to implement gradually for customers and employees over an extended adjustment period.

 As part of his dual business degree programme, in which he a focus on international business and digital management, he worked in the IT department of a publisher and at a Swiss security technology company. With his IT and sales experience and knowledge, Leon Kuntze is expected to take responsibility for website design, databases, social media and AI.

Oliver Kuntze, who has led the company for more than 30 years, is delighted that his son has  joined the company and is confident that he will provide important momentum for the successful further development of the measuring tool specialists. In the past year, he has already started to support the sales team at a few national and international trade shows where he was able to establish valuable contacts with a wide range of customers at home and abroad.”
