Sustainability: success factor for marketing

Which marketing topics are the most relevant? Which communication channels do brands use to spread their messages? What about investments and budgets? The Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) and the magazine absatzwirtschaft surveyed marketing managers on these topics. The result: “Green topics” are top of the list for marketing managers. Sustainability and climate change ranked first and second among the top 10 topics surveyed. The managers’ investment plans are clearly online-oriented. Here, “digital” is just ahead of “social media” (own accounts) and external promotion.
