High time for a reunion: PSI 2021 opens ticket store

PSI will take place in 2021 – with a comprehensive hygiene concept, a focused range of topics and an even stronger emphasis on sustainability. As the first major event for the promotional products industry, it will be the start of a new business year – together with viscom and PromoTex Expo – from 12 to 14 January in Düsseldorf and will combine the Face2Face business with the new, digital reality. Tickets are now available from the online ticket store.

While the first trade shows with well-functioning concepts are already taking place this autumn, the PSI organizer Reed Exhibitions has also developed a comprehensive hygiene and safety concept which will be continuously adapted to current requirements as needed. At the same time, the trade show format will be further developed. With new solutions and formats, PSI exhibitors and visitors will in future be able to network virtually in addition to the classic “live event” in January and benefit from the advantages of digitalization in the trade show business.

In close coordination with the health authorities, the trade show industry has developed concepts for the health protection of all participants. At the PSI site in Düsseldorf the “Caravan Salon” was already successfully launched in September under the current event conditions. The largest exhibition in Germany since the restrictions imposed by the Corona pandemic has proven that trade shows can be held successfully and safely for exhibitors and visitors alike.

Trade show participants may enter Germany

Like many trade shows in Germany, PSI is also characterized by its internationality: Therefore, it is all the more important for AUMA to clarify that the entry of trade show participants from abroad is also possible in times of a pandemic. For example, there are no travel restrictions for visitors from EU member states and from countries on the positive list. The presentation of the trade show admission ticket in conjunction with an appointment for a business meeting with at least one exhibitor at the location at the trade show is already considered proof. Travel is also possible from all other countries, as they are considered business travellers with good cause.

“For those visitors who will still not be able to come to Düsseldorf next January, we are currently developing new, digital solutions with many options,” says Petra Lassahn, Director of the three trade shows. For example, the new concept provides, among other things, for prepared product highlights from the exhibitors and the streaming of events. Also new is a “Video Matchmaking”, with which PSI brings exhibitors and visitors into live contact.

“However, there is one thing that the digital offers cannot replace: interpersonal contact, explanations of products in need of explanation and the haptic experience of products at a trade show. Personal contact at a trade show is and remains indispensable for long-term, trusting business relationships,” says Michael Freter, Managing Director of PSI. That is why PSI will again be at the start of next year with the broadest spectrum of the promotional products industry, numerous product innovations and programme highlights. All formats will take place in compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.

PSI as a stage for sustainability

The issue of sustainability remains of central importance. Thus, on 12 January 2021, the first day of the trade show, the winners of the PSI Sustainability Awards will be presented for the first time at the trade show. Tickets: All changes at a glance

Visitors of PSI, PromoTex Expo and viscom can now buy tickets in the online ticket store. The ticket store can be found on the websites of all three fairs. You can choose between 1-day, 2-day and 3-day tickets. The price varies between 23 Euro, 31 Euro and 39 Euro. Due to security regulations, tickets can only be purchased online and it is necessary to specify the day of the trade show when buying the ticket. However, the days can be adjusted later, provided that tickets are still available for the desired day. The trade fair ticket entitles the holder to access to all trade fair halls.

As in previous years, PSI members only need to log in with their PSI login data and then go directly to the ticket store. All member tickets are marked as such so that all member benefits can be used on site without any problems.
