First-hand haptic emotions: the GWW (German Promotional Products Association) made an appearance at the summer party of the industry in Berlin with 1,001 beach bags. Guests from the BGA (Federation of German Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services) and HDE (German Trade Association) could pick up their “summer feeling set” in the form of a well-filled beach bag at a separate stand.

GWW chairman Frank Jansen, managing director Ralf Samuel, PR director Bastian Hofsümmer and GWW political consultant Frank Dangmann were on site. The beach bag set was created by Steven Baumgärntner, who also financially participated in the event. The great haptic products included bags from Mister Bags, a hammam towel from Alta Seta and sun lotion from Sanders Imagetools. They of course came with a business card with a link to the GWW distributor database and information on the most recent GWW effect and emotion research regarding promotional products.

Nearly 1,200 guests from business, politics and associations are likely to have been surprised and at the same time delighted by GWW’s appearance. After all, summer holidays are just about to begin all around Germany. For the GWW, this was the ideal opportunity not only to be present on the political scene, but also to actually demonstrate that promotional products are creative, ecologically sustainable and highly effective. In addition, decision-makers from over 500 advertising businesses were on site and now have access to the GWW distributor database, thus a major hub for business. www.gww.de
