The ORIVA PRO X Padel Bag from cyber-Wear has received the German Design Award 2027 in the category “Excellent Product Design – Sports, Outdoor Activities and Leisure”. Developed in collaboration with athletes from the Padel360 team, the bag combines sport-specific functionality with a flexible organisation and carrying system. The awards ceremony will take place in January 2027.

The design process focused on the specific requirements of training, competition and travel. The bag has six functional zones and 14 features. These include an insulated compartment for up to three padel rackets, a ventilated shoe compartment, an insulated drinks compartment and separate compartments for accessories and valuables. The capacity can be expanded from 48 to 62 litres. Depending on how it is used, the bag can be carried as a shoulder bag or a backpack.

The product also prioritises robustness and durability in its choice of materials. These include material made from ocean plastic, recycled metal components, a water-repellent tarpaulin- nylon composite and YKK zips. A reinforced base completes the design.

Founded in 2026, ORIVA is the registered padel brand of cyber-Wear Heidelberg and was created in collaboration with Padel360. The aim is to work with athletes to translate the demands of the sport into functional products. In addition to equipment, the range is set to include functional clothing, team wear and merchandise. The products are distributed through the Padel360 network and its athletes. The company plans to set up its own online shop.
