Sustainability as Tomorrow’s Theme

Using resources more efficiently and checking supply chains for sustainability more closely proves a competitive edge long term.   The way raw materials are handled for manufacturing products, the question of re-usability and waste avoidance are increasing in importance. This was demonstrated by numerous examples at PSI, Promo Tex Expo and viscom early this year. The lectures at Forum 13 also frequently addressed resource efficiency as a theme. Trade show expert and Director of Future Print, Frazer Chesterman, to name but one speaker, called for a general re-think: “We need an ethical perspective on the manufacturing of products,” he demanded in a video interview.
